Membership dues, pledges made when you were called up, a gift in memory of someone, or a donation for no reason at all. Here is how to pay.
Give online
Online donations are handled by CanadaHelps, a Canadian charity that processes gifts for registered charities.
- The button below opens the synagogue’s page on CanadaHelps.
- Choose the amount and pay by credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- In the message, tell us what the gift is for: a pledge, a nahala, or the name of the person you are honouring.
- CanadaHelps emails your official tax receipt right away.
By cheque, or in person
Cheques can be made out to Tiferet Israel Congregation and mailed to the synagogue, or handed to a member of the board at services:

Tiferet Israel Congregation is a registered charity, number 848990412 RR0001. Official receipts for income tax purposes are issued for eligible donations. Gifts made through CanadaHelps are receipted by CanadaHelps. For cheques and gifts in person, please make sure we have your full name and mailing address so that your receipt reaches you.
